EndoApex review from Jinho Sung DDS and Inoak Park DDS Users review about Dentazon Endo-Apex from Jin Ho Sung DDS We order one set of the Endo Apex 2 in 1 Cordless Obturation System at spring 2010 CDA meeting after watch DXMs floor demonstration. Reason to decide to order. Price is much lower than other companies. Rotation of Gutta Easy tip make less need to bend silver needle tip and could save $$ for replace thermal tips. Rapidly achieve working temperature make less wiaiting than others. Simple glue gun type chamber make less need maintenance. Other users told me they never need replace teflon plug. At beginning they expect change plug frequently because manual has good portion write for it and Dentazon selling those. But as company rep told we do not normally need replace it. Long history of manufacturing dental products could reduce future service problems. I was using DXM company products since 1999 and Korean product quality is much better than other comparable countries. They put safety circuit with lithium batteries which reduce change of explosion like ebad cell phone on news. Using of Endo Apex Gutta Easy is looks like glue gun in high end shape. It is easy to understand how to use. Temperature 180F arrives very quickly and silicon rubber cover protects patient lip from heat trauma and I keep extra cover for each patient and trotting needle is hit idea. I do not know how it could be without gutta percha leaking or sticking on rotation portion. it is always freely rotate. other company should learn from this. it make easy to make direction without excessive an repeated bend expensive silver needle to break. it goes my daily maximum 4-5 case without down for recharge at this time. it includes endodtic case and implant screw sealing. At starting I had problem to understand shipping power on off switch and end of handle. I was need good depth of clicking to turn power on. several small click attempt is not good and I thought it is defective. One deep push and it work. Once it is on I do note need use that switch any more. Is there any way disguise glue gun shape with lot of Philips screw showing? we dentist already have so Manu gun type tools it add up already gun shop like shelves. Shine florescent color with matching almost full disposable plastic wraps may make less gun looking well ti may like candid 007 guns like. I do not have exact idea but there mush other apple design like innovative practical ways. We will soon get used to this but it will make this good product more perfect. Block should be good material because CDA show demo one got melting out at those working temperatures. I put silver tip unscrews after use to put on autoclave but we are too new to know how durable this tips after frequent unscrew and sterilization. Because under tightetnin. make possible incident of separation inside of patient mouth. it is normally protected by rubber dam but sometimes it is not. over tightening make permanent damage to tip or screw receiving parts of main unit. Control panel switch works very well and silicon cover is intert ideas at very small cost except some what difficult to remove each patient and I end up use plastic intra oral camera cover with front and back area trim out to fit to only non heating are. Overall impression on Endo Apex Good workmanship with at most economic price we pay. good response every gutta percha related dental work including endodotic fillings, remove old gutta percha and implant abutment screw sealing.
